THE VIEWING EDIT
Look beyond the first impression.

See the space in use.
Think about how furniture, storage and movement will work together. Look at access between the kitchen, living areas and outside spaces, and imagine an ordinary day there.
Notice light, sound and ventilation.
Open curtains where permitted. Ask which direction the rooms face and consider how comfortable they might feel at other times of day. Pause to listen to the surroundings.
Bring your questions.
Ask what is included, what facilities are shared, and who manages maintenance. Request written details where they affect your decision. For technical or legal questions, involve a qualified independent professional.
Make useful notes.
With permission, take photographs and record measurements. Write down any unanswered questions so you can follow up with the property team.
